    Golden Corral Corporation is recruiting a Vice President of Franchise Sales due to two upcoming long-term executive retirements at the end of this year. This position will report directly to our SVP of Development and be based out of our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.

    Summary:  The Vice President of Franchise Development is responsible for all franchise sales activity related to the development of new and resale Golden Corral Restaurants. The position will develop the strategies and tactics to achieve annual franchise sales goals.  This will include the strategy for lead generation, approval of territories and signing of Area Development Agreements.   Responsible for ensuring that franchise sales activities are conducted within approved policies and procedures.   Individual will be responsible for generating new candidates in an assigned territory as well as leading a Director of Franchise Development and the Franchise Sales and Legal Administrator.  This role has critical impact to overall company revenue and profitability as well as being a key driver in our brand's continued development.

    1. Develops and executes the annual national franchise sales plan for both new store and resale agreements, including lead generation, application approval, internal approval, and Area Development Agreement signature. Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales team management, and meet annual sales goals. 30%
    2. Manages Franchise Development team and insures that all franchise sales activities are conducted within the approved policies and procedures.   Responsible for updates to Franchise Disclosure Documents, and ongoing updates in process to remain compliant with all legal standards. 15%
    3. Manage individual territory and meets individual Area Development Agreement goals. 30%
    4. Manage relationships with existing franchisees and support their expansion plans. Monitors franchise restaurant opening schedules in area development and individual franchise agreements. In coordination with GC Development, promptly reclaims and remarkets territories of non-performing franchisees and works to re-segment market plans to have the most current sales strategy. 15%
    5. Develops and manages the department and media budget. Directs and participates in public relations activities to attract franchise prospects through positive franchise success stories in magazines, newspapers and other media. Expand digital marketing and social media efforts for franchise opportunities.  Directs activities of external media relations and attends national restaurant industry meetings, such as COEX, National Restaurant Association show, MUFSO and International Franchise Association conferences. 10%
    Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, foodservice or hotel and restaurant management or equivalent. A law degree or MBA is valuable but not a requirement. Minimum ten years' experience in executive management of multi-unit franchised organizations with progressively more responsible management accountabilities. Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) preferred. A proven track record of demonstrated sales success in the franchise sales industry. Experience as a self-employed multi-unit franchised restaurant owner-operator helpful, but not required. Position based in Raleigh, NC.
